Our Story
ELMAR CRETE A.E. was born from a passion for carrying the ancient olive tradition of the Aegean into modern Europe. Grown on Crete's fertile soil, on the slopes where the sea meets the mountains, our olives are hand-picked and cold-extracted within 24 hours of harvest. This preserves freshness, low acidity and high nutritional value in every bottle — reaching tables across Europe.

Halil İbrahim's story is an invisible bridge linking the two shores of the Aegean. He grew up on the olive-scented soil of İzmir, in the shade of century-old trees with silver leaves. The years carried him to Thessaloniki — yet wherever he went he took the Aegean sun, the salt of the sea and the generosity of the earth with him. For more than thirty years he has lived olive oil not as a trade but as a passion: he awaits each harvest with patience and calls every drop that flows 'liquid gold.' To him, fine olive oil is never merely a product; it is sunlight, sea and labour gathered into a single bottle. Today, every tin he fills under the ELMAR CRETE name carries the seal of this lifelong love.
